I am an engineer in Image Processing and professional photographer specialized in mountain landscapes and aerial photography. I developed the passion for image and the freedom of extreme landscapes during my journeys in Iceland, North Pole and sharian remote regions of the globe as well as mountaineering in my native Alps.Besides my deep technical knowledge in color I worked as freelance photojournalist on assignment covering Vulcanology and troglodyte culture in Saharian regions as well as aerial photography of the most beautiful monuments and mountains of the French Alps. In 2010 I works with the French travel agency Tamera for the planification of photographic tours in the Algerian Tadrart and the western regions of Greenland. In 2012 I participated to a project of color Gamut conversion for cinematographic applications with creation for Technicolor R&D. The project was aimed to provide the right vividness to the colors in Lab space yet preserving the skin tone. I worked as algorithm designer in ROV underwater imaging as well as digital watermarking for handling copyright management.I am the author of the image « Waterspouts in the Mediterranean", an image of four funneled waterspout shot in July 1999 in the Ionian Sea and that was awarded in July 2013 as “”Earth Science Picture of the Day” (EPOD) at Nasa’s USRA Earth Science Center.
